What's Next?
It is a slow process to change the government regulators. But that would be ideal for animals for all forms of transportation if they would change. For large corporate airlines views on animals to change it has to be about money. Either consumers (animal and pet owners) must insist on better or a lawsuit needs to set a precedent. Certainly pet and animal owners insisting better care is a start. Letters written to government and corporate bodies may help. In the meantime, we are trying to get a meaningful response from Canadian regulators on what is being done about carbon monoxide; and this dialogue is ongoing now (see links). Otherwise we are relying on others to help take up the cause and we hope this website is helpful.
