Civil Aviation Issues Reporting System (CAIRS)
The Civil Aviation Issues Reporting System (CAIRS) is under the jurisdiction of Transport Canada. The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) in August of 2006 advised us that our complaint should now be referred to CAIRS. At the time of updating this website the dialogue is still ongoing. Since initial correspondence with the CTA, more information on carbon monoxide on airlines has surfaced. I include this in the letters from August 2006 and November 2006. To report a problem to CAIRS, there is an online form that one must fill out.
